• Housing Amenities

Each guest is provided with a single bed, linens, towels, a desk, a chair, and closet space. Gender-specific shared bathrooms are found on each floor. Some buildings also include gender-neutral bathroom options. Cooking is prohibited in residence hall rooms, but kitchenette areas are available for guest usage. Housekeeping and maintenance services are provided by hall reception desk staff.

Each guest is provided with a mattress pad, bed sheets, blanket, a pillow, and a pillowcase. Linens and towels can be exchanged daily in the lobby of the residence hall.

Residential Dining Facilities

Conferences that make prior arrangements for meals in the residential dining facilities will have access to the facilities via their Summer Conference Cards. The Summer Conference Card is only valid for meals contracted by the conference, but guests may purchase additional meals with cash. Food is served in all-you-can-eat buffet style. Menus and serving hours differ for each residential dining facility.

Telephone jacks are available in all residence hall rooms. Telephones must be requested in advance, or guests may bring phones to use in their individual rooms. The residence hall phone service is restricted to local calling; any long-distance calls must be toll free, collect, or via a third-party calling service.

Conference guests who are utilizing overnight lodging may reserve parking spaces. Prior arrangements for reserved parking must be made through an event coordinator. Upon arrival, hang tags or key cards will be distributed to guests who have reserved parking spaces.

Conference guests without reserved parking may utilize public parking ramps and lots for a daily rate. Improperly parked vehicles may be ticketed and/or towed. Any fees and/or fines incurred are the responsibility of the conference guest.

Conference guests will be issued a Summer Conference Card that will allow them access to the residence hall main doors and the residential dining facility. Guests will also be issued individual room keys. Lost keys will result in a replacement charge.

Hall Information Desk

The hall information desk is open 24 hours a day. Staff members provide assistance with conference check-in, check-out, and general campus information. Hospitality Specialists are also on duty each evening to provide assistance in the event of an emergency. Other professional hall staff will aid the Hospitality Specialists with any concerns or questions that may arise during the conference or event.

Mail & Messages

Groups staying in on-campus housing for two or more weeks may be assigned individual mailboxes that are located in the residence hall lobby. In order to receive mail, the individual room number must be listed in the residence hall's address. Messages for guests may also be left at the hall's information desk.

Check In/Out Procedures

Unless otherwise arranged, check-in time is 1:00PM and check-out time is 12:00PM. To check-in to your assigned residence hall, go to the main information desk in that hall. When checking out, all keys must be returned to the residence hall information desk. Failure to return keys will result in additional charges for the conference guest. It is the responsibility of the conference guest to remove all personal items from the room and leave the space as it was found upon arrival.
